Senior Leadership Team

+ Mr Paul Kelesidis (Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead, )

Paul started his teaching career as a Key Stage 2 teacher in Calderdale and has taught across all age ranges. He held the post of Advanced Skills Teacher at his previous school before taking up the post of Deputy Headteacher at Bolton Brow Junior, Infant and Nursery School in 2009. In 2021 he successfully became the Headteacher of Bolton Brow Primary Academy. Since then he has taught in years 5 & 6 but also taught in all other years’ groups throughout his time at Bolton Brow Primary Academy. He is currently a Specialist Leader of Education working with Teamwork’s Teaching School supporting schools across Calderdale and Oldham. Paul is responsible for providing professional vision and leadership of Bolton Brow, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and maintaining outstanding standards of learning and achievement.

+ Miss Claire Wardle (Deputy Headteacher, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENCO, Early Years Leader, Year 6 class teacher)

Claire is the Assistant Head Teacher of the school and supports the Head Teacher for its leadership and management. Claire started her teaching career as a Key Stage 1 teacher in Calderdale and has taught in the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2. She held the posts of Lead teacher and then Advanced Skills Teacher at her previous school before taking up the post of Foundation Stage Leader at Bolton Brow Academy. Since arriving at Bolton brow she has become the school SENCO. She teaches in Year 6 class and is a Local Authority Early Years moderator and currently a Specialist Leader of Education working with Teamwork’s Teaching School. Claire is responsible for providing professional vision and leadership of Bolton Brow, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and maintaining outstanding standards of learning and achievement.
